POS customer discount limit
Ensure discounts stay within defined boundaries by setting a customer specific discount limit. This new feature helps businesses control discount behavior at the point of sale.
⚙️ Functionality
We’ve added a new field to the Customer form under the Sales & Purchases tab called “POS Discount Limit (%)”. This field allows you to define the maximum discount a specific customer can receive on POS orders, regardless of the cashier’s or product’s discount limits. Here’s how it works: If a cashier has a 20% discount limit but the customer has a 40% limit, the cashier can apply up to 40% discount for that customer. If the applied discount exceeds the customer’s limit, the system will block the action and show a warning pop-up: “The customer [Customer Name] has a [X]% discount limit.”

✅ How to use
1. Go to the contact module. 2. Open the customer you need to update his discount 3. Start to choose sale to add a discount on POS Discount Limit (%) 4. Open Pos and start to choose the customer and then add product and then applay the discount
